About Allen Portable Buildings
Strong and Durable Portable Buildings
Allen Portable Buildings was started in 2001 by Kenny and Donna Allen. With all of the building experience that Kenny had learned from working with his father, David Allen, building houses and
working with his son, John Allen, building spec houses and offices; building portable sheds seemed like a new adventure and the beginning of Allen Portable Buildings. While Kenny put in long hours building and delivering portable sheds, Donna tended to their customers and managed the office. In 2005 John
joined his parents in the portable building business.
Portable Buildings to Hwy 61, Sikeston, Missouri. Allen Portable Buildings’ new home is a 24,000 square
foot building that needed to be modernized to handle the production of manufacturing portable
buildings as well as a comfortable office space to accommodate their office personnel and customers.
Kenny has always felt their business adventure was one of his greatest accomplishments and always felt
blessed to be working with his wife, son, granddaughter, and their amazing staff. In 2022, Kenny sold
Allen Portable Building and passed the reins of the family business to his son, John Allen, as he decided it
was time to retire from his business venture. He felt like John was the only person that he could trust to
take care of his loyal customers and staff the way that he would.
Since Allen Portable Buildings has been passed down to the next generation, John has followed in his
father’s footsteps and has enlisted his daughter, Kennedy, to learn the family business inside and out as
he once had, knowing that one day it will be her legacy.
Over the years, Allen Portable Buildings, a family owned and operated company, has been able to meet
